Group Classes

Private Classes

Individual         $75.00 /hr.

Pilates classes help build strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. Pilates works the entire body and more specifically the "powerhouse" region.  This includes the muscles of the abdominals and lower back.  Because of its focus Pilates has become popular not only in the field of fitness, but also in rehabilitation.  Strengthening the core/powerhouse muscles and improving postural awareness has proven to alleviate and prevent back pain. 

Our instructors come from diverse backgrounds with experience in sports, fitness, dance and nutrition.  Each brings an unique perspective of the Pilates Method to their sessions.  Integrating the knowledge of the chiropractor with that of the Pilates instructors has proven to offer patients a higher level of focus in RESTORING and REDUCING  physical limitations. Combining your therapy by visiting the chiropractor while doing a Pilates regimen is something that we highly recommend.  The chiropractor works closely with the instructors to ensure proper exercises are given and goals are being achieved during the therapy sessions.

New Pilates Clients: It is our priority that you are comfortable and safe at every stage of the Pilates experience.  Occasionally, people have found group classes to be overwhelming as their first exposure to Pilates.  Private lessons are available and can help by allowing an instructor to identify reasons for injury, postural misalignment, muscle strengths and weaknesses.  The instructor will use this information to suggest postural modifications and/or specific challenges to exercises that can help with your problem areas.  Once you are confident and ready to enter a group class you will benefit by better understanding your body and hence able to apply the proper muscle emphasis during the exercises taught.

Live Well Etiquette, Procedures and Policies

Classes with less than 2 participants are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling.

We require that you provide 24 hours advance notice of appointment cancellation or changes.  Appointments canceled in less time will be billed in full.

For your benefit and for the courtesy of others, no cell phones or pagers are permitted in the studio.

All packages expire 12 months after date of purchase no refunds or exchanges on pilates packages.
